Our "Geography in the News" club, for all key stages, runs on a Tuesday lunchtime at 12.30pm in room 22.
The idea is that children search the internet for Geography in the news and create a news report to display outside the geography classroom (and here on the website). The club helps to promote literacy skills and report writing and aims to inspire students to take a greater interest in the news and current affairs.
There has been a fantastic response from the students and some of their work can be viewed via the links below. More reports will be posted soon...
